Mother’s Day Tea
$40 per person ($25 for kids up to 11)
May 9 from 1pm to 3pm
Come and celebrate the mothers in your life. Whether you are a grandparent, step-parent or guardian. Mothers come in all shapes and sizes and for the afternoon we would like to honour them all!
Come indulge in a relaxed interpretation of a much-loved afternoon tradition filled with delectable sweets and savoury delights made by Demeter Catering from products sourced from local farms. We are in the beautiful Pontiac countryside and have a gorgeous view of the Eardley Escarpment.
We will be offering premium loose leaf teas made on the farm, and a delectable mix of savoury finger sandwiches, handmade sweets and scones. Please note that an afternoon tea is meant to be a light meal to bridge the gap between lunch and dinner (so it is not meant to be a full meal).
We also have goats to snuggle with and horses, rabbits, ducks and chickens to visit with.
Come dressed casually or in your finery with your favourite fascinator or hat. It’s your day so it is completely up to you.
Tickets are non-refundable however in the event of cancellation the price of a ticket can be transferred to another event. Please let us know as soon as possible if you cannot make your reservation.
Please note you must register in advance and agree to the below Waiver of Liability in order to participate. You will also be asked whether or not you consent to the below Appearance Release as we sometimes take photos for our social media platforms.
You will also be asked if you have any food allergies or intolerances and if you have specialized food requests, please contact us in advance of purchasing your ticket to make sure you can be accommodated.
Don’t forget your sunscreen & bug spray as we will be outside.
Waiver of Liability
This agreement releases Christopher Baal, Mireille Renee Savoie (Mountain View Farm) and/or any employees thereof (all hereafter referred to as “Mountain View Farm”) from any and all liability relating to injuries or destruction of personal property arising from any cause whatsoever, including that of any possible negligence on the part of Mountain View Farm. The participant understands that interaction with farm animals can be unpredictable in behavior and known to nibble, jump, scratch, etc. The participant understands he/she is in a rural environment on unlevel surfaces and may have contact with various plants, manure, dirt, and such things involved in the farm setting. The participant accepts all risks of personal property damage, injury and death associated with any animals and the rural setting in which they will be in.
By registering for the Mother’s Day Tea and checking off “I Agree” on the registration form, the participant (and those they are registering) agree to hold Mountain View Farm from any liability or financial responsibility from injuries and/or personal property damage incurred. If signing on behalf of a minor, the parent/guardian accepts full responsibility for any medical expenses incurred to the minor’s participation in goat yoga and agrees to release, hold harmless and indemnify (including costs and attorney fees) Mountain View Farm for any claims brought by or on behalf of the minor.
ALL REGISTRANTS HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT HE/SHE HAS READ THIS RELEASE, FULLY UNDERSTANDS ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS, UNDERSTANDS THAT HE/SHE HAS GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY AGREEING TO THIS RELEASE AND HAS AGREED TO IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT INDUCEMENT, ASSURANCE OR GUARANTEE MADE . HIS/HER REGISTRATION IS A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ANY AND ALL LIABILITY TOT HE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.
Appearance Release
The participant understands that he / she may or may not be photographed in participation of the Mother’s Day Tea. As such, the participant grants Mountain View Farm the right to record their image, likeness, voice, etc. for the purposes of marketing on their website or social media channels. Mountain View Farm may edit any material recorded in any way they see fit. The participant understands that he/she will not be compensated in any way for the recording and/or use of my image, likeness, voice, etc.
